Teaching boys to feel and recognize the Spirit

In church I am in the Primary Presidency.  I have tried to teach the children to recognize the promptings of the Holy Ghost by pointing out when I am feeling the Spirit.  I have talked several times to the kids.  When I ask them if they felt it they all respond Yes.  I have also tried to teach my boys at home.  I felt pretty confident that they understood.  Yesterday during Primary I asked the Children if they felt the Spirit when one of the boys gave a talk.  They said YES.  But my son Daxton stood up, walked over to me and asked, "Mom how do I know if I felt the Spirit?"  I had to explain again that the good feelings we feel come from the Holy Ghost.  I realized that I need to continue to teach them what if feels like and not just assume they understand.
